Voter registration deadline for the May 3, 2022 Primary Election was Monday, April 4, 2022 at 9:00 PM
If you failed to update your voter registration, you may still be able to vote this election using a provisional ballot.

Primary Election Day May 3, 2022 Polling locations will be open
6:30AM to 7:30 PM

Voters must go to their assigned polling locations to vote on Election Day. The Board of Elections office is not a polling location on Election Day.

Election Results will be posted starting at 7:45 PM with only the absentee vote totals. The next report will be posted after the first 15 precincts reporting, including absentees. The final Un-official report for all 35 precincts reporting, including absentees.

Note: General Assembly and State Central Committee Races will not be on the May 3 Primary Ballot. A Primary Election for those races will be held at a later date.

Due to the recent Redistricting some of our district numbers have changed. The current office holders in our previous districts will still be our elected officials until their terms end 12-31-2022. Below are the affected office holders and the former district. The Elected officials tab may not show the correct district number for the office holder due to the updates to the system.
Our current (until 12-31-22) office holders for U.S Congress 6th District-Bill Johnson, State Senate 20th District-Tim Schaffer, State House 97th-Adam Holmes.
All new districts will be displayed in the elected officials tab after 1-1-2023.

The May 3rd Primary Election ballot will have the new districts and candidates for Guernsey County that take office 1-1-2023. Refer to the 46 Day notice tab to determine which district and candidate for your precinct. If you are wanting to see your sample ballot specifically for you, find it in Voter Look Up Search in the Quick Links to Online Tools tab.
