May 5, 2026
The Board of Elections will be closed Wednesday, January 14th 2026, through Friday, January 16, 2026, for staff to attend training. The Board office will also be closed Monday, January 19, 2026 for the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday. The Board office will re-open Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 9:00 AM.
Early and Absentee voting for the Tuesday, May 5, 2026, Primary Election begins Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 8am.
No ballots can be sent prior to this date.

Note: An absentee application must be on file for each separate election before we can mail you an absentee ballot.
IMPORTANT: Anyone returning an absentee ballot for someone else will be required to sign SOS form 12-P Absentee Ballot Delivery Attestation as required by Directive 2024-21

Candidate Petition Packets for County-wide offices and Republican County Central Committee declaration of candidacy for the 2026 Primary Election will be available October 1, 2025.
Filing deadline is February 4, 2026
Election Results will be posted to this site Election Night
starting around 7:45 PM with Absentee/Early Vote totals being the first report.
